This weekend is dedicated to baking sugar cookies and assembling care packages for our alumni who are currently pursuing their undergraduate degrees (most of our counselors). We bake over 2,000 cookies and send approximately 250 care packages! If there’s time, on Sunday we can snowshoe through camp. Housing and meals are provided. For more information, please email Melissa.

Brookwoods and Deer Run Man Camp: May 1 - 3, 2026

Join us for a men’s only work weekend. Men connected to Camp Brookwoods, Deer Run and Moose River Outpost, ages 12 and older, are welcome to join us. The weekend is spent doing projects around camp—all in preparation for Incoming Day. If you are only available on Saturday, that’s fine! Our punch list this time of year is a long one, and we greatly appreciate your help with painting, splitting wood, carpentry projects, and clean up! Some years we have a specific project that we tackle, like porches on the Brookwoods’ cabins. Our camp pastor will lead us in a time of study, fellowship and worship. Housing and meals are provided! For more information or any questions, please email Tim.

Brookwoods and Deer Run Alumni Camp: September 4 - 7, 2026

For four days you can be a camper again! Alumni Camp runs from the Friday afternoon of Labor Day weekend through Monday afternoon. Over the course of the weekend, it’s camp just like you remember it (with a few minor changes, no Blob, sorry). Saturday and Monday mornings there are regular activities: archery, riflery, sailing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, canoeing, crafts, outdoor cooking, rocket assembly, etc. In the afternoons, we’ll have “open waterfront.” In addition, you can hike Pine Mountain or canoe over to Plum Island in Roberts Cove. Our evening program includes campfires, singing, and s’mores. Alumni Camp is open to all alumni of Camp Brookwoods, Deer Run, and Moose River Outpost. Current camp families are also welcome to attend. Alumni are welcome to invite families to join them in their cabin for the weekend. Please email Corey for more information.

Details: Housing and Registration are separate costs. There are various price points for housing. Cabins are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees are based on age. If we have vacancies in late August we will consider first-time families.
