Lake Cottage

The Lake Cottage is one of the oldest and most beloved structures at Camp Brookwoods and Deer Run. The cottage, built in 1795 and moved across the frozen lake to its current position in 1929, is a treasure but is now in need of some significant repairs. The Next 75 will fund projects needed to “spruce it up” while still maintaining its historic character. Most significantly, the foundation is being repaired and the existing bedroom addition is being rebuilt to make it consistent with the original design of the cottage.
